In 2015, she was voted the No. 5 ranked teacher in New York for Golf Digest, and has also made their Top 50 list for women golf instructors in the country.
Fiercely passionate about helping her students reach their goals on the green, Debbie works closely with Division I college golfers, in addition to junior golfers on the AJGA (American Junior Golf Association), who have their ambitions set on playing college golf at the highest level. Two of her standout students currently making waves in the golf world are Cameron Wilson, 2014 NCAA Champion at Stanford University and 110th on the 2015 Web.com money list, and Erica Herr, a standout at Wake Forest in her sophomore year. Both athletes qualified for the US Open, in 2012 and 2013 respectively.

As a junior and amateur, Debbie won every New York Metropolitan tournament in the area and went on to play at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she captained the golf team both her junior and senior years and led the Tar Heels to an ACC Championship in 1992. She was later inducted into the ACC Hall of Fame.
Selected as one of five college seniors to represent the United States in the World University Golf Championship, Debbie was the only American to medal that year, taking home an individual bronze. After college, she went on to compete on The Futures Tour, The Gold Coast Tour and then in 1993, The European Tour.

On both The Golfer Girls with Natalie Gulbis and The Golfer’s Edge with Ben Shear, Debbie interviews the top golf experts, teachers, trainers and inventors, as well as helps callers improve their game right over the airwaves. She’s known for making guest appearances on other SiriusXM PGA Tour shows, like Golf School with Jim Mclean and Jeff Warne, and most recently, Sirius’ sports channel to talk golf at the Rio Olympics.
Fox Sports has frequently invited Debbie in as an on-air golf personality to cover major USGA events, like Women’s Four ball, both the Men’s and Women’s US Open and the Women’s Amateur. She’s made several appearances on The Golf Channel’s “Fitness Friday” segment, and has broadcasted from both the course and the booth at numerous tournaments for PGA Tour Live.
